As the winters approach, the month of December comes with the cold winds and white snow. It marks the start of the festive season in most parts of the world, as it's the Christmas Month, The month of Celebration, togetherness and faith in God.

Christmas is celebrated on the 25th of December every year. Christmas actually comes from "Mass of Christ". It means the "feast day of Christ". Christmas is marked as the day when Christ was born, which in literal term has not been proved. The entire reason for Christmas is the love of God. God loves you so much that he came to earth as a human so you could get to know him and learn to trust him and love him back. God became one of us, a human being, so we could understand what he is really like.

Preparing for Christmas can be a lot of fun but with lots of work too. With the pressure of buying gifts, sending greeting cards, decorating our homes, putting up lights, cooking, attending parties, and cleaning up afterward.

Christmas is the Celebration of love, faith and the bond people share with each other. People travel from one place to another to meet their families and friends and have some nice time together. On the Christmas Eve people go to church in the morning, sing Christmas carols, exchange gifts and have a family get together with a feast at their home.

Some of the things that we associate with Christmas are "Holly, Candy Cane, Reindeer, Santa Claus, Elf, Star of David, Christmas tree and Snowman".

Out of which kids are always very excited about the Santa Claus and decorating the Christmas tree. They wait for their Santa Claus to come and give them the gifts they wished for. For that they hang their socks before the Christmas night. Kids love to decorate their Christmas tree and their house with the favourite decorative things. Then there is the feast which makes the Christmas more exciting and flavourful for kids.
